Hailing from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the United Kingdom, Phillipa has excelled in her Certification by Vetsnow, which is approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Being an experienced emergency and critical care nurse, Phillipa Jane Sharples joined the SAI team in October 2022. Phillipa graduated from the College of Animal Welfare in 2016 with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. As of 31st October 2023, she is all set to lead our ECC nursing team. Phillipa’s previous clinical experience ranges from general practice (exotics and equine), referral specialist centres and emergency critical care specialists, including intensive care units, neurology wards and medicine wards, both in the UK and Australia. She’s currently in the process of completing continued professional development in emergency and critical care nursing through VetsNow. Her interests include small animal emergency and critical care medicine. Phillipa enjoys dancing, modelling, and exploring the beautiful Australian nature outside work. Phillipa works within our after-hours emergency team.
