Dr. Amit is the hospital’s Veterinary Director and Senior Veterinarian. Dr. Amit graduated with Honours with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in 2003 from Punjab Agricultural University. He received his Masters in Gut Microbiology from the University of Manitoba in 2007. Dr. Amit has worked as a Research Scientist at the University of New England and completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program (by examination) through American Veterinary Medical Association in 2011. Dr. Amit has an extensive amount of knowledge in the small animal emergency and critical care medicine field and he also has a wide knowledge of all species and breeds of companion animals. When not at work, Dr. Amit spends most of his time with his wife and son and their cattle dog cross, Archie.
