FAQ's
The night before surgery, make sure your pet eats their dinner before 8:00 pm; do not give them anything afterwards. You may leave water for them; however, take it away the following morning. In case your cat is going to have surgery, lock it indoors the night before surgery so they don’t wander or catch a snack at midnight.
Do not give your pet breakfast on the day of surgery, as it is not safe to have an anaesthetic on a filled stomach. Remove their water bowl in the morning and be on time at the clinic to complete all the pre-operative formalities. Also, ensure your pet has been toileted before admission for comfort.
